16/10/09 - Thomas Vale bags a £15m hat trick in Staffordshire
Award-Winning, Midlands based contractor, Thomas Vale Construction is celebrating this week the signing of three major New Build Housing projects across Staffordshire, with three different Housing Association Clients.
The new Build Housing projects are for Housing 21 & Madeley Village Hall (MVH) in Madeley, Staffordshire (£8.2m), Affinity Sutton at Abbey Hulton, StokeOn Trent (£3.3m) and Housing Plus (Formerly South Staffordshire Housing Association) at Shifnal, Staffordshire (£3.3m).
The projects entail the providing two Extra-Care Schemes for Older People, a replacement Village Hall, and the provision of general needs Housing for Rent in Stoke On Trent.
The three projects are the culmination of several years of preparatory work, and Ian Cox, Partnership & Development Director at Thomas Vale Construction said “This is great news for Thomas Vale and the Staffordshire regional economy.We are keen to ensure that the investment trickles down to our Staffordshire supply chain partners”.
The three projects add to Thomas Vale Construction’s growing forward order book in the Affordable Housing Sector.
