16/03/09 - Thomas Vale Tenant Liaison Officer Scoops Award
I would like to thank those who nominated me, Sandwell Homes, Thomas Vale staff and residents. I was especially pleased that some of the people who I worked with were able to join in the celebrations as without the help of site staff and Sandwell Homes colleagues it would not have been possible.
Daryll Pritchett, Senior Tenant Liaison Officer, Thomas Vale Construction
Daryll Pritchett has been working on the Sandwell High Rise Decent Homes Programme since its inception in 2006, and has been instrumental in shaping and continuously improving the customer care being delivered on projects. Daryll has been a key part of the Action Groups which were set up to include our tenants in the strategical and tactical delivery of their refurbishments.
Daryll has always gone beyond the call of duty for her tenants more than any other TLO. She is unfailingly cheerful, considerate and caring and she always has tenants’ needs at heart. Her actions have shown that she is never willing to leave the site at the end of the day unless all tenants are happy. She has been instrumental in helping provide and coordinate round the clock help and support for all her tenants and is always dedicated to delivering above and beyond the call of duty. Whether the problem has been decent homes related or not, Daryll has made sure that the customer is always left satisfied.
Tony Thomas, Project Manager for Sandwell Urban Design commented - I found Daryll to be extremely professional and competent in her approach to and dealings with the tenants during the contract, which also extended beyond the completion date. Daryll had all relevant information relating to any tenant issues/concerns to hand for and between site meetings for early resolution therefore simplifying contract administration during the project. It was a pleasure working with Daryll and I look forward to working along side her again on future projects - she deserves some recognition for the dedication and commitment given to the project.
