24/06/10 - Thomas Vale Shortlisted for 5 Prestigious Awards
Thomas Vale has been shortlisted for the prestigious annual Quality in Construction Awards which are being held in London tonight.
The awards are; Project of the Year, Under £10million - St Luke's Primary School, Wolverhampton, Environmental Project of the Year - St Luke's Primary School, Wolverhampton, Integrated Supply Chain - Thomas Vale & St Luke's Primary School, Wolverhampton, Sustainability and Training & Development. Submissions were pulled together back in December.
The Quality Awards organised by Construction News is a celebration of the quality demonstrated by the UK construction industry; encouraging innovation, management, best practice and teamwork. Recognition of the best companies in UK construction has been the aim of the Quality in Construction Awards over the last 13 years, rewarding key and flagship projects both large and small and has become a valuable accolade for even the largest organisations.
The awards were 'prequalified' for and followed by interviews in London, resulting in the short listing of some of Thomas Vale’s finest work.
Tony Hyde, Managing Director for Thomas Vale Construction said: “Year on year the competition for these awards gets tougher. On behalf of Thomas Vale I would like to thank everyone involved, being shortlisted is an exceptional achievement.”
