29/07/11 - Future Enterprise Board raises £1000 for Charity
Compton Hospice based in Wolverhampton has been providing care to patients with life limiting illnesses for the past 28 years, and to continue to provide the same exceptional level of care to patients they would like to redevelop areas of the hospice. So to help reach the target of the £3.5m programme the charity has launched the ‘Raise the Roof’ appeal to raise £1m from its supporters
As part of the Compton Hospice ‘Raise the Roof’ appeal the soapy madness of 'It's a Knockout' is the pinnacle of the Hospice’s family fun day, and this year Compton managed to raise an honourable £25,000.
Members of the Future Enterprise Board were joined by Senior Management from Thomas Vale and Emcor.
To end the day, the Future Enterprise Team from Thomas Vale, were crowned ultimate winners of the 'It's a Knockout' Event and took away some sparkling medals and the knowledge that not only had they had fun, but had helped to improve the quality of life for so many people across the Region.
