30/07/10 - £2.8 Million to be spent on Mount Pleasant Primary School
Shropshire Council and award winning contractor Thomas Vale Construction start work on the new £2.8 million project at Mount Pleasant Primary School in Shrewsbury this week.
The work comprises extension and refurbishments to the existing school with external refurbishments and landscaping of play areas to include a woodland walk and a multi use games area.

Thomas Vale Construction plan to get involved with the school once the new term begins in early September to provide the staff and pupils of Mount Pleasant School with safety talks, ‘Expectations Workshops’, seminars and updates on the progression of the works being carried out on the school.

The amalgamation has resulted in savings to the council, and the investment in the building will result in savings to the school as well as a great learning space for pupils”
