05/07/10 - Thomas Vale Employees Set to Raise £3k for Charity
Thomas Vale employees Sammy Sidhu, April Hopkins, Sasha Hyde, Kris Rowley, Claire Fell, Dave Bradshaw, Nick Green, Neil Paul, Chris Smith and Jade Wallis will be taking part in a tandem sky dive on July 17th to raise money for charity.
The 10 employees will be jumping from a plane at 10,000 feet and free falling for 5,000 before a parachute is deployed. Employees have nominated a charity to raise money for and have set a target of £3,000 collaboratively to share between them.
Some of the charities include St Mary’s Hospice in Birmingham, Promise Dreams in Wolverhampton, The Stroud Valleys Project in Gloucestershire, Acorn Trust in Worcester, and the Air Ambulance.
Claire Fell, Thomas Vale Construction said: “This is a great opportunity to have fun while raising money for our nominated local charities. Most of these charities would not be able to survive without our help, in particular it is not always fully appreciated that Midland Air Ambulance is funded solely by the public and local businesses, so a small leap from us is little to ask for!”
If you would like to sponsor the team please contact Jade Wallis for more details on 01299 827770 or e mail jade.wallis@thomasvale.com.
