26/01/10 - Contractor receives MCS accreditation
Midlands based contractor, Thomas Vale Construction is proud to be one of the first construction companies in the country to achieve MCS, Microgeneration Certification Scheme accreditation.
MCS is a certification mark for onsite sustainable energy technologies. It confirms assurance to consumers on the quality of product and installation services. It will help increase the take up of renewable energy technologies and support economically the growing renewable technologies industry.
The scheme will provide consumer confidence that installers and products meet robust standards. Applicants have to demonstrate that they have signed up to the Office of Fair Trading’s Consumer Code Approval Scheme’s Code of Practice which makes sure that contractors offer consumer protection, including complaints handling and a means of ensuring that taxpayer’s grant money is spent in an effective manner.
Paul Dockerill, Director at Thomas Vale Construction comments: “Thomas Vale’s service provision is now further extended to ensure we acquire the best value for our clients through a “one stop” solution to deliver sustainable options and renewable technologies.”
