Prime Focus, Birmingham
Contract Value: £4.5 million
The works comprise the construction of a new 40,000 square ft, three / four storey office block in Bath Row, Attwood Green, Birmingham. The offices have been built to a category ‘A’ standard, including fan coil air conditioning, external services and roads and car parks.
The offices were constructed on a city centre brown field site and form part of the Birmingham Park Central Urban Regeneration scheme. The construction achieved a ‘good’ BREEAM rating and was finished to a high specification.
Sutton New Road, Birmingham
Contract Value: £6 million
This new design and build steel framed 4-5 storey office block was undertaken in partnership with Birmingham City Council and their Urban Design Department to ensure that the new £6million project was delivered to agreed timescale, specifications and strict budget restraints. The Revenue and Payments section of The Resources Directorate took possession of the new building in October 2007 with around 360+ employees relocating in to the new facility.
Plans for the scheme had been on the table for a number of years prior to contract award. Building Control requirements, including DDA, had progessed considerably in the ensuing period. Subsequently, our project team worked closely with Urban Design to upgrade the original design in line with new legislation.
Contract Value: £6 million
This development provides a wide range of accommodation designed to suit many types of small businesses. The office accommodation comprises approximately 14,000 sq ft of office space, meeting rooms and break out areas. The workshop areas are 9400 sq ft.
All units are fully serviced with IT and the whole development is run from a management hub on the ground floor of the office building. The development sits within an extensive landscaped site with 96 parking spaces. The building is constructed with a steel frame and has architectural composite cladding panels and facing brick elevations, with aluminium windows and brise soleil.
Contract Value: £3 million
The project consists of the construction of a new two story office and production area. The site was enclosed on three sides at Fort Dunlop. It is specifically a steel framed build cladded with rubber for the office area.
Work includes a lift, new electrical sockets and deep reinforced pit for the holding of waste fluid produced. It also includes assorted external parking, service yard area and modern landscapes.
