The works consist of the demolition of an existing house, Orchard House and the clearance of an adjacent Builders’ Yard, followed by the construction of a two and three storey 65-bed care home together with lounge facilities, offices, kitchen facilities, laundry stores and plant room.
Japanese knotweed has been identified on the site and Thomas Vale are working in close consultation with the Environmental Agency to ensure its removal complies with current Environmental Legislation.
