Fire Support is a consortium led by Bilfinger Berger Project Investments, consisting of Nord LB and building contractors Thomas Vale and Stepnell. Cofathec will provide facilities management services and 3DReid, dac and Walker Simpson make up the architects. In May 2008 Fire Support and Kajima were issued the invitation to submit final tenders and following a thorough evaluation process Fire Support have been chosen as the preferred bidder. The £46 million project will involve the building of ten brand new community fire stations in the County.
