Who are we?

Thomas Vale Directors hold a wealth of experience and forward thinking, innovative ideas that make a real difference to the benefits we can provide to our Clients.

	Tony Hyde Group Managing Director Tony joined the Company for the first time in 1975 as a Site Engineer/Planner and later moved into Design & Build and Project Management with Westbury, Bryants and Wimpey in the Middle East. In 1992 Tony became Thomas Vale's New Business and Strategic Development Director. In November 2000 he was made Managing Director and in April 2008 Tony was appointed Group Managing Director with overall control of all Thomas Vale Group Companies.
	David Newcombe Director - Financial David joined Thomas Vale Group as Financial Director in 2007.
	Pete Wardman Director Peter joined Thomas Vale in 1989 after holding a number of senior positions with other midland construction companies. He is responsible for projects procured on both traditional and inreasingly through longer term partnering arrangements. He retains day to day involvement in the management of site personnel and in ongoing communication with clients.
	Keith Reeves Director - Surveying Keith joined Thomas Vale in 1989 as a Quantity Surveyor and has progressed over the years to Commercial Director, taking responsibility for Supply Chain Activities, Commercial Reports and aspects of Business. He has a thorough understanding of Construction Contracts and Laws and has grown with the company over the years.
	Bill Munn Director - Resources, HR, Health & Safety and Environment Bill joined the Thomas Vale team from CITB in 1988 to take responsibility for developing training and health and safety in Thomas Vale. He has been instrumental in the introduction of formal management systems and their accreditation to ISO 9001 and 14001 as well as implementation of the Investors in People standard. He recently visited North America to study World Class Organisations as part of a DTI/IUKE initiative.
	Gary Mail Director - Strategic Projects In 2002 Gary was invited to join the Thomas Vale Board of Directors and is Divisional Director of Strategic Projects which specialises in Design and Build, Management and Prime Contracts. He has over 20 years experience within the industry, as a Quantity Surveyor, bringing extensive knowledge to the company.
	Richard O'Connor Director - Business Improvement Master Lean Improvement and Business Improvement Director Dr Richard O'Connor is responsible for improving and developing our methods of work and strengthening of our operations, management and performance of all levels of our business.
	Richard Green Director - Traditional and Building & Maintenance Richard joined Thomas Vale in 1995, following periods of time with both Local and National Construction Groups, and has risen through the ranks to be appointed as General Manager of the Building and Maintenance Division. Richard is now responsible for both the Traditional Contracts and Building and Maintenance Divisions.
	Nick Coley Director - Fitzgerald Contractors and City & Interiors Nick heads up our Aston Office in Birmingham overseeing City and Interiors who specialise in a fast track fit out and complex construction works often in a live environment and our ONLINE Division focusing primarily on building works within the Rail and Communication Sectors. Nick has recently been put in charge of our office and construction works in Leicestershire as well as our Civil Engineering arm of the Thomas Vale Group, Fitzgerald.
	Glen Schofield Director - Housing New Build Glen Schofield is a fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Building and of the Faculty of Building. He is also a committee member of Constructing Excellence in the West Midlands. Glen has full responsibility for the Housing Division of Thomas Vale covering both "new build" and "regeneration" sectors. With over 16 years experience at Director level Glen has a wealth of housing experience acquired throughout his entire career in the construction industry.
	Ian Cox Director - Partnership & Development Ian has worked in the Social Housing sector for 26 years. He started his career in local government, developing innovative developments and joint ventures. After a brief period as a Housing Association Director, he has for the last 10 years worked in the private sector working for the major house builders, and social housing design and build contractors. He specialises in cross-subsidy projects.
	Paul Dockerill Director - Housing Regeneration(Designate) Paul is a new addition to the Thomas Vale Team with a wealth of experience in Housing Regeneration and the delivery of Decent Homes Programmes for Public Sector Clients.
