CHAS - Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme

Demonstration of Compliance with and Management of current basic Health and Safety Legislation.

NCF - National Contractors Federation

The NCF represents 8 construction companies with an annual contracting turnover in excess of £75 million. These include many respected names within the industry, often with a particularly strong link to a specific region or city.

The NCF works with the MCG to tackle the main issues affecting larger construction companies. NCF's key priority is the implementation of its health and safety strategy which includes an active commitment to sharing best practice between companies.

EXOR

Accreditation is a process in which certification of competency, viability and compliance with legal requirements and current codes of practice is presented. Exor uses a set of risk management standards that have been developed over the past ten years to become the accepted criteria for prequalification for all of our public sector clients. A business with Exor accreditation is known to be financially stable, compliant with legislation relevant to the work carried out by the business, and reliable, with a trading history checked by the sourcing of independent references.

NHBC - National House Builders Confederation

As a member, we have undertaken as a condition of registration that every home which may be built, conforms to the standards of construction prescribed, adopted or approved by the NHBC and homes will be submitted for inspection by the NHBC’s staff.
