17/12/07 Think Safe, Work Safe, Stay Safe

Thomas Vale Construction’s main priority has always been the health, safety and welfare of all their employees and ensuring that they are all back home safely with their families at the end of their working day. A new freephone, anonymous number has been set up for anyone passing by or working on site who may feel that any unsafe conditions have arisen through either the work of Thomas Vale or Supply Chain Partners, to ring and blow the whistle.

12/12/07 New Beginning for St Lukes

On 5th December 2007 Thomas Vale began work building a brand new school for pupils at St Luke’s Primary School in Wolverhampton. The school comprising of over 400 pupils currently operates on a split site with infants on one site and the junior school on the other around a mile away. The new ‘Church of England’ aided school is now being built on a single site. Land became available for the school when tower blocks on the old Blakenhall Gardens Estate were demolished.

12/12/07 Women Breaking into Construction

Forum training, a division of Thomas Vale Construction, together with Festival Housing is rising to the challenge to encourage Female Adults to be trained in a variety of construction based skills using the ‘Women in Construction Scheme’. The pilot scheme with Festival Housing aims to help women gain full employment within construction.

10/12/07 Pantomime Horse Grand National

As well as the astounding amount raised for Children in Need in Partnership with Sandwell Homes and Sandwell MBC, Thomas Vale also committed a vast amount of time and money to be able to support the Thomas Vale Pantomime Horse Grand National in Partnership with Birmingham City Council.
