Industrial

Industrial

Working in complex and demanding environments. This year Thomas Vale has undertaken many quality industrial and commercial projects. We pride ourselves on the extensive design and build knowledge that we offer our clients, employing a flexible approach at all stages of the construction process.

The Industrial and Commercial sector remains a major priority for Thomas Vale and with continued growth set to take the sector back over the £4billion mark for the first time since 1999, the future for all involved looks bright.

From start to finish we are on hand for consultation, offering the best quality service and assurance that when we are finished we will leave behind long lasting and sustainable buildings.

We are particularly proud of our work with IM Properties in Dordon, Tamworth. This impressive new warehouse and offices are valued at £8.4million and were completed on a fast track programme of just 39 weeks. At 220,000 square feet, this is the largest industrial development that Thomas Vale Construction has ever built.

Other projects worth noting are projects at Lakeside Cannock and Precision Micros. At Lakeside Cannock we were asked to take on a further nine office units after successfully completing a first phase project of eleven high quality office units valued at £2.3million.

We also completed a complex £3.2million manufacturing facility for Precision Micro in Birmingham, further cementing our expertise in this sector.

Precision Micro

The project consists of the construction of a new two story office and production area. The site was enclosed on three sides at Fort Dunlop. It is specifically a steel framed build cladded with rubber for the office area. Work includes a lift, new electrical sockets and deep reinforced pit for the holding of waste fluid produced. It also includes assorted external parking, service yard area and modern landscapes.

We were able to work collaboratively with our client to complete the shell of the building and hand over the factory space to allow the client to continue to fit out their own production facilities whilst we continued with the internal construction works. The relationship we had ensured a seamless approach and a timely delivery to meet the clients requirements.

Crowfoot Carriers

The project required removal of asbestos from existing structures on site followed by demolition and site clearance. The new building is a single storey portal frame warehouse with steel sheet cladding and brick elevations, including drainage and all external works. The new building was constructed within the clients operational parcels delivery depot. We took a number of steps to minimise disruption.
