Supply Chain and Procurement is increasingly becoming an area of focus for our industry, with over 90% of all expenditure on construction sites in the hands of our Specialist Supply Chain Partners.

Our Partnership with Birmingham, Sandwell and Wolverhampton procurement portal’s, as well as our own online vetting systems for new and potential suppliers, aimes to boost business activity across the local economy, by helping local businesses to develop skills, and supporting them in bidding for contractors. Thomas Vale are fully committed to supporting the principle of keeping the “Midlands pound in the Midlands” through the use of local manufacturing and labour resources. We are also driving the development of the local construction industry through our Forum Training Centre, which offers training to both our Clients and our Supply Chain.

Supply Chain Partnership Assessment

A two way assessment process used to objectively measure how well Thomas Vale Construction and the Supply Chain are working together. This will be carried out annually by the Procurement Team and the Supply Chain.
